New Reopening Guidelines for the City of Charleston Tours

I am happy to announce that Eclectic Tours of Charleston will be in operation as of Saturday, May 23, 2020. The following precautions are the new set of guidelines approved by the Governor of South Carolina and the Mayor of Charleston. These new precautions are imperative for the safety of my guests:

1)  Walking tour group size will be reduced to follow social distancing guidelines allowing 6-foot space between parties. No more than 9 guests (plus tour guide) on each tour.

2)  Reorganize all walking tours to be compliant with the area of travel.

3)  All participants will be encouraged to bring their own face masks. Recognizing the potential for overheating or breathing difficulties caused by mask usage, tour time length should be evaluated on a daily basis based on weather.

4)  Require all guests to sign a waiver (I will present this at the beginning of the tour) that states they are healthy and have not exhibited any signs of illness (COVID-19) in the last 14 days.

5)  All tour guides will wear a face mask when in close proximity of guests, and be equipped with hand sanitizer.

6)  Update online marketing materials to alert customers of new hygiene standards.

Precautions will be taken for the Outer Banks Film Locations Tour to clean the vehicle thoroughly before and after each tour.

Thanks!! I’m so lucky my tours are mostly privates of 2-4 people. Easy to keep safely distanced and still have a great time. Taking all the precautions as well.
